Metrics
The Metrics tab shows historical performance for the device — how CPU, memory, disk, and network have trended over time, not just the current snapshot on Overview.
What you see
- Summary cards — CPU, RAM, and disk with current value, a progress bar, and a color threshold (healthy → warning → critical). Network throughput where available.
- Time‑series charts — usage plotted over the selected window so you can spot spikes, leaks, and saturation. Pick the range (e.g. last hour, day, week).
How to read it
- CPU climbing and staying high → find the culprit in Processes or ask NL Ops to list top consumers.
- Memory creeping up over days with no plateau → possible leak; check the process list.
- Disk near full → clean up or expand before it hits 100% and services fail.
Metrics come from the DashX agent or SSH collector on each poll. Thresholds that turn cards amber/red are driven by your alerting rules in Settings → Alerts.
tip
Use Metrics to confirm whether an alert was a one‑off spike or a sustained trend before you act.
