Bulk Update

Bulk Update lets you patch many machines at once from Fleet instead of opening each device. It covers two different things — OS/software updates and agent version updates.

Run a bulk update​

  1. In Fleet, click Bulk Update to enter selection mode.
  2. Tick the devices you want (checkboxes appear on each card). Click Cancel to exit selection mode.
  3. Choose the action:
    • Apply Updates — installs pending OS/software updates on the selected devices. Each device updates in parallel and its card shows running → success/failed; Fleet reloads as each finishes.
    • Update Agents — upgrades the DashX agent to the latest version on the selected agent‑connected devices (devices without an agent are skipped).

Notes​

  • Devices with pending updates show a updates count on their card; agent‑upgradable devices show an amber Update badge.
  • Updates run per‑device and are independent — one failure doesn't stop the others.
  • For a single device you can also update from its Overview tab (Apply All Updates / Update Agent).
tip

On Windows you can select which updates to install from the device's Overview tab; the Fleet bulk action applies all pending updates.
