Users

Manage who can sign in to your DashX organization and what they can do. Admins only.

Roles

RoleCan do
ViewerRead‑only — see devices, metrics, and reports, change nothing
OperatorManage devices — run actions, apply updates, connect remotely
AdminFull access — users, settings, billing, everything

Add a user

  1. Go to Admin → Users.
  2. Fill in Username, Email, and a Password.
  3. Pick a Role (defaults to Viewer).
  4. Create — the user can sign in immediately with those credentials.

Manage existing users

  • Change role — use the role dropdown next to a user; it takes effect right away.
  • Reset password — issue a new password for a user who's locked out.
  • Reset 2FA — clears the user's two‑factor setup so they can re‑enroll (use when they've lost their authenticator). See MFA.
  • Delete — removes the user (you'll confirm; this can't be undone).
tip

Grant the least role that lets someone do their job — most teammates only need Viewer or Operator. Keep Admin to the few who manage settings and billing.
