Join Requests

When someone requests access to your organization, their request lands here for an admin to approve or reject — no SQL, no manual account creation.

Review a request​

  1. Go to Admin → Join Requests — pending requests are listed with the requester's details.
  2. Decide:
    • Approve — DashX creates a user account (as Viewer by default), adds them to the organization, and grants access. Bump their role afterward in Users if they need more.
    • Reject — optionally add a reason; the request is marked rejected and the person isn't granted access.
tip

Approve as Viewer, then elevate to Operator/Admin only if the person's job needs it — it's easier to grant more later than to walk back too much access.
