Guest Portal

A branded captive portal for visitor Wi‑Fi — guests sign in the way you choose and land on a guest VLAN with a time‑limited session.

Configure the portal​

  1. Go to Network → RADIUS / NAC → Guest Portal.
  2. Brand it: Portal title, Welcome / description message, Terms / Acceptable‑Use text, and a Logo.
  3. Pick a Sign‑in mode:
    • Click‑through (accept terms) — fastest, no identity.
    • Self‑register (name / email) — capture visitor details.
    • Email code — verify an email address.
    • Sponsor approval — an employee approves the guest; restrict with allowed sponsor email domains (e.g. acme.com, acme.io).
    • SMS code — coming soon.
  4. Set access: Guest VLAN, Session length (minutes), and an optional Redirect after sign‑in URL.
  5. Copy the portal URL to point your NAS's captive‑portal / walled‑garden at it.
tip

For events, Click‑through keeps the line moving; for offices where you want a record of who was on the network, use Sponsor approval or Self‑register.
