Edge Tokens
Per‑organization tokens that let an on‑prem / edge RADIUS component authenticate to the DashX cloud API on your org's behalf — scoped to just the internal RADIUS endpoints it needs.
Generate a token
- Go to Network → RADIUS / NAC → Edge Tokens → Generate.
- Give it a label (e.g.
HQ on‑prem edge) so you know where it's deployed. - Copy the token (
dxr_…) and configure it on your edge component. It's scoped to your org — it can only reach the internal RADIUS endpoints, nothing else.
Rotate and revoke
Revoke a token when a site is decommissioned or a token may be exposed; generate a fresh one for the replacement. The global platform token is unaffected — these are additive, per‑org credentials.
tip
Use one labeled token per edge site. If a site is retired, revoke just its token — the others keep working.
