Unmanaged Devices

Machines DashX has seen on your network but that don't have an agent — your onboarding backlog. Turning these into managed devices closes monitoring gaps.

Work the list

1. Go to Monitoring → Agent Health → Unmanaged.
2. Review the discovered devices (found via network Scans and neighbor data).
3. Onboard the ones you care about:
   • Install the agent — see Deploy the Agent.
   • Or add them agentless (SSH/SNMP/ping) — see Add a Device.

tip

An unmanaged device is a blind spot. Prioritize servers and network gear here — those are the ones you least want to be flying blind on.
