Patch Management

Approve and roll out OS/software patches across the fleet with control — decide what gets deployed, to which devices, and track each one to done.

The workflow​

  1. Go to Assets & Compliance → Patches.
  2. Review pending patches (missing updates DashX has found). Select all or pick specific ones/devices.
  3. Approve the patches you want to allow.
  4. Deploy them to the target devices — each runs and reports back.
  5. Track status and, where needed, Mark Done / Mark Failed to keep the record accurate. You can also Create Patch for a custom/manual entry.

Where else you can patch​

  • A single device — its Overview tab (Apply All Updates, or pick which on Windows).
  • Many devices fast — Bulk Update from Fleet.

Approve to a pilot group first, confirm nothing breaks, then deploy the same approved set fleet‑wide — the approve→deploy split is exactly for this.
