Monitoring Settings

The org‑wide defaults for how DashX watches your devices — how often it polls and when a device counts as unhealthy or offline.

Configure

1. Go to Settings → Monitoring & Alerts → Monitoring.
2. Set:
   • Poll interval — how frequently agents/SSH collectors report.
   • Heartbeat / offline threshold — how long without a check‑in before a device is marked offline.
   • Resource thresholds — the CPU/disk levels that turn a device's health amber/red (and feed Alerts).
3. Save.

tip

Tighter poll intervals give fresher data but more load and noise. Start with the defaults and only shorten them for the handful of devices where seconds matter.
