Event Log Statistics

The bird's‑eye view of your event logs — volumes by source and level over a time window, so you can spot spikes and noisy sources.

Using it​

  1. Go to Monitoring → Event Logs → Statistics.
  2. Pick the time window (hours).
  3. Read the breakdown — a sudden jump in Error/Critical, or one source flooding the logs, tells you where to look next.

Use this to decide what deserves an Alert Rule so you're notified next time instead of finding it after the fact.
